About me
I’m a therapist and cultural organizer in Philadelphia.
I see young adult and adult clients at All Of You Therapy, a practice specializing in experiential and somatic therapy in Center City Philadelphia. I previously served as Social Work Fellow at Swarthmore College’s Counseling and Psychological Services, offering individual and group psychotherapy to college students. I graduated from Smith School for Social Work with an MSW in clinical social work in 2022. Prior to Smith, I completed a 4-year certificate program in somatic experiencing and my Reiki Mastership at Inner Source Healing Arts in Malvern, PA.
Previous work
My healing practice grows out of a decade-plus of projects exploring how people can foster belonging with one another.
Between 2014-2020, I ran the SPACES Artist in Residence Program at The Village of Arts and Humanities, a 30-year-old community arts organization in North Philadelphia. A 2-time winner of the ArtPlace America award, SPACES connects neighborhood leaders with artists to create arts-based solutions to local challenges. From 2009-2017 I co-founded and executive edited APIARY Magazine, a free, all-ages publication with a circulation of 10,000 that unites and amplifies emerging and established Philly writers across lines of class, culture and generation.
On an ongoing + intermittent basis, I teach poetry at New Pathways Project, an LGBTQ recovery space, and write with the Rogue Workshop, a collective that employs top working poets to offer education to Philly writers outside the MFA structure.
I am a member of the Circle Keepers collective, co-founded by myself, Folami Irvine, Pamela Draper and artist Misty Sol. We offer circles to support healers and helpers around Philadelphia. We’re the co-creators of the Circle Keeper’s Deck, an Afrocentric conversation and divination deck featuring the healing plants, places, and people of Philadelphia.
